The recently announced Virtex-5 FPGA
devices from Xilinx are now available
on high performance platforms from
Alpha Data. The ADM-XRC-5T1
and ADM-XRC-5T2
boards integrate the largest LXT and
SXT FPGA devices with leading-edge
memory and I/O and host interfaces.
Comprehensive software support is
provided at all levels including API,
drivers, template designs and interfaces
to high level design tools including
Simulink and Handel-C.

for the Xilinx Virtex-5 family
of platform FPGAs.

Virtex-5 is based on 65nm technology
and offers improvements in power
dissipation and logic density
over previous generations. The
LX110T, SX95T based ADM-XRC-5T1
and LX220T, LX330T based ADM-XRC-5T2
are engineered to allow designers
to be first to market with Virtex-5

Virtex-4 range of FPGA s. The ADM-XRC-4
provides support for largest LX and
SX devices, while the ADM-XRC-4FX
and ADPe-XRC-4
target the FX100 and FX140 devices.
All of the Virtex-4 based platforms
are supported by Alpha Data's software
development kit and XRM I/O adapters.
