Simulink Board Support Blockset for ADM-XRC Series of Virtex II and Virtex II Pro Cards

Simulink from The Mathworks is a powerful graphical modeling system which allows complex systems to be designed using a block diagram methodology.

The Alpha Data Simulink Board Support Blockset provides Simulink blocks which allow hardware to be "run in the loop" of a Simulink system.

Xilinx's System Generator for DSP is a blockset for Simulink which allows the modeling of fixed point systems which can be transformed into VHDL and targeted at an FPGA.

The Alpha Data Simulink Board Support Blockset provides additional blocks which allow the VHDL produced to be targeted easily at an FPGA based board. Blocks modeling the PCI interface of the card and the I/O ports and the on board SRAM are provided and VHDL to configure these is automatically produced.

Automatic generation of the bitstreams is supported with the synthesis and implementation tools run from within the Simulink environment.

An Xtreme DSP like hardware-in-the-loop cosimulation blockset is also available.
